Default Aftermarket Touchscreen and GPS headunit

Has anybody any experience or knowledge of this unit?

I'm only looking because the CD player in my car does not function and fixing it means replacing the headunit at a Canadian BMW price of over $3000.

Thanks for any insight.

Looks interesting, but it will work with other iDrive features.
May require some advanced wiring work arounds...

I stopped by Cartoys, and assosiate told me they don't want to deal with Bimmer's iDrive "it's too integrated in the whole car".

Super Cool !
If it integrates into the idrive then totally should organize a group buy on this.

I'd imagine you would have to do allot of coding and possibly wiring for this to even possibly work. Would be really cool if it was plug and play though.

I am guessing there would be no coding
