I am interested in doing some tail light upgrades I currently have a pre-LCI 2007 530i. I've considered the LCI tail's, but from what I understand, coding has to be done to the car, of which I am still kind of a noob. Still may look into this if no good options exist.

I have been looking around ebay at aftermarket tail lights for my E60. There are several different ones out there.

What are people's thoughts and opinions about this? Good or bad. What has worked well, what hasn't?

 

I went through the same thing. At the time there was a huge thread about the tails alot of people got the Depo tail lights, they look like the LCI lights. I got the depo tails also I paid $257.00 no coding needed. There's was alot of questions and answers given. They are nice

 

I wish someone would give a review and take some day and night pics of those clear/white aftermarket ones. Even though I have an LCI, I think it would look great on my white car with all the black accents I have
