My Ride: '06 530i
Titanium grey metallic, Dakota beige leather, Premium and Sport packages, Steptronic
Beautifully simple!
I'm new to the site and will be taking delivery of a 530i in a couple of weeks.
Q's: Can I get PDC installed by the dealer after I take delivery (I wish I would have ordered it before the car was built)?
Anyone know the price I can expect to pay?
Any issues I should consider before I order it as an aftermarket installation?
Thanks in advance for your input!

My Ride: 2006 530xi. Deep green with beige interior. 6 speed manual. Premium package.
You can get anything done for enough money.
In the accessories catalog there is a rear back up sensor that they can install. However it is not the PDC - just gives a beep if something is behind you. I do not remeber the price but I think it was about $500 + install. Iwill look for the exact price and part number when I get home.

I just got home and looked it up. The accessory PDC is $275 + labor. But again - it is only rear sensor and a beep (I think).

Thanks guys!
I found the accessory information on this site - thanks dgjk. I wonder if my salesman will come up with the same answer?

Fyi - - my salesman just told me that the dealer can install the PDC, but it's expensive. He's quoting $1,800 installed.
