And 5 of 6. The small black cube at the top of the pillar lining is the infra red detector that talks to the DVD changer in the boot/trunk. The unit comes with a small remote control to allow you to change DVDs, access all the DVD special features etc.

and 6 of 6. This is the infra red sender that sends the stereo audio to the cordless headphones - so no wires in the cabin at all.
I just remembered about the DVD changer so I'll also add a 7th picture. Bear with me friends.

This is the DVD 6 disc changer in the boot/trunk.
Overall, for the two 6.5inch LCD screens, DVD changer, 2 pairs of IR headphones and all the installation of the system it cost me 1320 UK pounds. That's a lot of cash but we do tend to do long journeys (just come back from a drive to the French Alps) and it was great for our 10 and 6 year old kids.

I think DD's 12-step program is working for him. I can't recall seeing him around much these days...
(Note to self: Get in touch with DD and ask him how the hell he did that!

This isn't quite as good as pedaling (or is that paddling) down the road, but it's the next best thing.

Flowerfred - ?1320 for the whole shebang including a professional installation. No wires to be seen - headphones have great sound and the screens are neat.
