Yes, as long as the AFE unit has a tube inlet out toward the grill. If not, its pointless to have the RPI Scoop

So are you saying there's two different types of the aFe intakes? One with and without the inlet towards the grill? This would be helpful to me if you can clarify.

I don't know, I'm saying of the AFE kit has a tube similar to the OEM box that has a lead toward the filter close to the grill then yes. It will help. If it doesn't have one, then its pointless to put an RPI scoop because then the air doesn't get directed toward the air intake.
