Most say no. Most people on this forum would recommend RPi Scoops + Filter. Reason being there's no cold air intake around. The aFe is hot air.

My Ride: 2008 E60 528i
6MT, Sports Package, Premium Package, Navigation
you technically can put this on your car, but you will likely not get any increase in horse power. probably a loss as what everyone else will say. i have it installed in my car and i love how it sounds on my 6 speed manual. i do feel that the throttle response is better though. i don't drive fast, but i do like a little growl when i step on the gas. my last car was an R33 Nissan Skyline GTR and i never took it past 110 kmh! lol!

yeah no sound with the RPI. i have that too. it just helps direct more air into the intake box since it sits behind the headlight. plus it looks cool sitting behind the grill. i always catch people stopping and taking a look when they walk past the car. lol!
