The AFE is just a tube with an open element filter to pull in air from the underhood. Looks pretty, works bad. The high flow stock replacement filiter and the ram air scoop is the most usefull as the scoop directs cold air into the stock airbox. Which is pretty big really.

who has an AFE for sale for him? I am sure someone still has it as a living room ornament. When I first bought my RPi, it looked like a backyard mod with a metal tubing and a nice looking "heat shieldLESS." Drove the car and it felt fine. Got a dinan tune and it felt NICE. Then took it off and went back to stock. WOW, it was so much better.

Get the RPi.

even the dual cone intakes....

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=73817&hl=

dyno with the injen DCI set-up (but this would include all DCI's, as the other brands are located towards the middle of the engine bay)...stick with your stock box

unless you really just want the extra sound of the turbo spooling and don't mind the performance loss....

Can't you install both, the intake system, and the air scoop?
How do you force air through an open intake (aFe)?? RPI all the way....
