I got afe intake for 530i but during installation 6" adaptor did not come with so i decided to just add filter straight to the pipe... is it ok to drive with or should i get some kind of replacement?

I was able to get in contact with Joe regarding your question. You should go back to Turner (I believe thats where you said you purchased it in your PM) because every part, including that adaptor, is needed as a complete kit.
