Ok I wanted to purchase the AFE induction kit for my 545 so I contacted a supplier in the UK who deals with turner motorsport, apperently there have been probelsm with theses kits so they are re designing them

Now looking through the posts here quite a few guys seem to be running theses so have you had any probelms or am I just being fed bullshit

there is no actual afe intake made for the 545. the afe on 545s here are modded ones that were made for the 550s. if youre interested, member r1racer has afe intakes in stock and the necessary modification for it to make it fit a 545.

Yes i am aware that a mod needs to take place in order to make it fit, however what i wanted to establish is the fact that is their a problem with theses kits as they said a new version is due out soon, as the old version had problems with it

The only problem I had was the fact

that it didnt fit into place 100%.

Besides that, No problems wit performance.

I just confirmed with AFE that there is NO problem with their current 550i/650i kits.
