This question if for folks who installed AFE cold air intake on their cars.
I'm mostly interested to see how that affected your gas mileage and engine sound.
Did the engine sound becomes harsher? the reason I'm asking is because I like it the way it is right now, and I don't really want to change it much.
What about gas mileage? Also, how often do you need to oil the filter? Finally, does it require some kind of computer adjustment/software update to work properly?
Thanks!

In theory, your mileage should go UP as there is a cleaner flow of air into the engine. But I think the real prize is the SOUND!

All right, thanks for your responses gents.
Now a questions about the filters - there are two types - the one that you need to oil (regular) and dry filter. I heard of some problems regular filters and M5 MAFs - anyone knows anything about this? What does oiling a filter mean? Do you think dry filter is easier and safer?

Probably wont change much (or may go down), b/c you will love the sound so much, you will definitely be driving more aggressively,

ie, the harder you push the pedal, the lower the MPG will go!
