Donv -

just spoke to the B&B rep - he told me to order off the website for a 10% discount - did you get that deal as well?
I got the 10% off, but through my BMW dealer. I had my dealer install the B&B to did my best to avoid warranty issues. I use a very experienced service advisor (SA) and got him to say that there won't be a warranty issue because of the B&B. But, of course, his words are not carved in stone. Still, I always do what I can to avoid warrnty issues, given what I do. Be sure that whoever installs follows B&B's instruction precisely. Enjoy your B&B. Do you have a Steptronic? If so, you may get minor unpleasant noise if you try to accelerate from 1,500-1,750 RPM in 6th. If I am crusing along slowly in 6th, then I downshift to 5th or less if I want to accelerate. But, I always drive in DS and use the gears manually a great deal.

Thanks again, I'm not doing a dealer install - I have the smg.
I figured that i would go to a muffler place, since thats what they do and if there are any surprises, they cut pipes, have brackets, etc. in their shop.

As far as the warranty, thats a whole other issue - I have no answers for that one and as far as I can see - there will be issues!

Good luck. I don't think the B&B will cause warranty problems.

How can the remus exhaust enhance shifting at higher rpms?
How's the volume?

hmmm interesting...can hardly believe that a muffler would enhance performance so greatly????

I went with B&B for mine, love the sound and looks of it. I'm used to catless straight pipes so in terms of noise, it's fairly quiet, except when it's between 1500-2000rpm accelerating in full auto mode, a bit too loud for the elegant E60's. Also, it didn't pass the Wife Inspection, so I might have to get the hard-to-get Supersprint after all. Anybody got anything to say about the Supersprint?

Definitely can't--not just a muffler.

Couple of questions:

Anyone installed the Sebring? how does it sound compared to the Remus?

I don't like the Remus tips, any way it can be ordered to have "stock looking" tips? One of the reasons I like the Sebring.

thanks
