Donv -

just spoke to the B&B rep - he told me to order off the website for a 10% discount - did you get that deal as well?
I got the 10% off, but through my BMW dealer. I had my dealer install the B&B to did my best to avoid warranty issues. I use a very experienced service advisor (SA) and got him to say that there won't be a warranty issue because of the B&B. But, of course, his words are not carved in stone. Still, I always do what I can to avoid warrnty issues, given what I do. Be sure that whoever installs follows B&B's instruction precisely. Enjoy your B&B. Do you have a Steptronic? If so, you may get minor unpleasant noise if you try to accelerate from 1,500-1,750 RPM in 6th. If I am crusing along slowly in 6th, then I downshift to 5th or less if I want to accelerate. But, I always drive in DS and use the gears manually a great deal.

Thanks again, I'm not doing a dealer install - I have the smg.
I figured that i would go to a muffler place, since thats what they do and if there are any surprises, they cut pipes, have brackets, etc. in their shop.

As far as the warranty, thats a whole other issue - I have no answers for that one and as far as I can see - there will be issues!

I know what you mean, I just had the MTech Kit installed as well. I had debated on getting a different rear spoiler that would accommodate a quad exhaust but in the end, I figured that would lead me to spend more money. RDSport also carries a single rear Sports Silencer with dual tips and I'm checking for it's applicability to the 545. I know you've already ordered your B&B but just thought this would be informative for others who might be reading.

Welcome to the forum CLDAS1CE. You might want to update your info to show where you're from and what model e60 you drive so it'll be easier for other members to address any future questions you might have.

Anyway, so where did you get your Remus. I really like their tips and can't beat their prices. I was going to check if I could custom order one with the carbon fiber tips.

Good luck. I don't think the B&B will cause warranty problems.
