I want to modify the exhaust on my 550, but I am leasing, any sugestions? I am thinking I might buy it out, not sure yet.

You should have no problems because you are leasing. Just make sure you allow for the possibility of reinstalling the factory muffler unless you intend to buy your car. As far as I know, all after-market mufflers allow for easy reinstallation of the oiriginal--e.g., B&B.

Since your car has a new engine, you're probably going to have to wait a while for the after market companies to develop and release exhausts for it. Here's the B&B site:

I am thinking about purchasing an exhaust for my 545 - Any advise would be helpful.

I'm looking primarily for a throatier sound, lighter weight.

I'm a bit skeptical on all horsepower claims, I don't think that it will make a noticible difference, just want to enjoy the volume.

I see that many of you havve the B&B, but there seems to be a few choices out there.? I even spoke to dinan in mountainview and they said that there will be a muffler system coming out at the end of the month.

Any thoughts?? I will have the M sport package installed on Monday!!!

If you want something that sounds like a V8 but retains the sophistication of the car you have, I recommend the AC Schnitzer. I threw one on my leased 545 and am thoroughly pleased. I can attest to a significant weight reduction as well. The stock exhaust comes in two pieces and each are nearly as heavy as the single ACS piece. Pricey though - roughly $1600 for parts but nothing compared to what we paid for the cars.

No clue here. I think you can send B&B an email using an address that is on it's website.
