i cant speak from experience, but as bmw will ONLY sell you 19"s if you get the sport package (which pretty much ensures that you're at least a little bit willing to sacrifice (not only 5k US but) ride quality for performance/sportier ride) that says quite a bit.

Im sure they've tried, but as it was too uncomfortable they dont want you driving your friends around on 20s bumping around like crazy as they would remember the bumpy ride in the E60. basically - 20s is too uncomfortable to market a bmw.

if they're not doing it - im not sure i would be. ill be getting the 19s.

but by all means, if the 19"s arent huge enough for you - get the 20"s - and let us know if it really is that bad.
