I am tempted now to get my car DMS'd - its 3 months old with 2K on the clock.

Can any of the peeps that have had it done, tell me whether there have been any warranty issues, and does it increase smoke out of the exhaust?

Does the noise of the engine change?

Many thanks

Before:

Power/acceleration was fine. Wasn't great about 4500 RPM.
About 35MPG overall average. Usual "tank range" 550-600

After:

Power/acceleration is improved. Happy to spin right up to 5500 RPM.
About 35MPG overall average (still). Usual "tank range" 600-650

Much more responsiveness at low revs. Willing to keep spinning, beyond 4500 (5000 in a 535). Having got used to the new power, it's difficult to compare now. But the extra performance was there, and VERY noticeable as soon as it was done. I expected mileage to suffer, with that extra power, but it hasn't. If anything it's slightly improved.

Having done the 1/4 mile, and got a best time of 14.2 (much better than "book" times), I'm convinced it's not just imagination.

DMS have a 535d demonstrator, if you want to comare before/after
