Ok boys and gals -
Roy is nice enough and offers to be the host for another mini paint meet in NJ (thanks Roy!
). We can all go and hang out at his house (with food and drinks). Due to space, only 4 cars can be painted at a time in his driveway. Depending on the # of people, we might have to do 2 shifts: morning and afternoon (more details later).
I contacted the ebay seller (G2 cailper paint), they don't offer discounts for multiple orders but shipping is free. But if we order from their website (hubcapsplus.com) directly, there is an instant 5% off coupon. Currently, it's sold for $36.99 with free shipping (same as the ebay offer). You can certainly buy other brands, please share the info if you know something better.
Lets pick a date, we have to do it on Sundays. I'm thinking August 17. And the rain date is August 24.
Other activities: photoshoot (if time permitted), quick drive, etc.

This is very tempting. I want to come, just to hang out. Hahahaha! I can't paint my calipers since my car is being returned soon. However, I will sit there on a beach chair with a stogey in one hand and a beer in the other and watch you guys sweat it out. LOL!

i got black paint for my calippers, but ive been to 4 different stores and NO WHITE CALIPPER paint. no one has white heat resistant caliper paint.
ROY is ur white Heat resistant?
and can you plz post a picture of ur car with the calipers showing with the BMW LOGO.id like to see how it looks from the side

Edit: should i use this brake cleaner before i paint? will it hurt the sensor?
