You will need a line-level converter because the Logic7 does not offer preamp outputs.
Personally, I would not bother adding an aftermarket amplifier to the stock speakers.
The stock speakers are not very good, so I'm not sure how much performance we can expect of them.
If you want to add an amp, then you really should consider swapping the speakers, too.

Change the OEM speakers to better ones and put those amps and subs in.

I did an loc in the trunk off of the under seat sub line.. mtx makes one with a bass line leveler because the stock system kills bass with increased speed and it matches bass so it doesn't drop... I have a 2 Farad cap and an addictive audio 100.1 (1300w rms) on 3 10s in a fourth order ported through the rear deck and it SLAMS and still have trunk room for 3 people worth of weekend luggage ... front end is all AA components off the stock amp and the under seat subs are still functional and untouched

i am in the same situation here, wanting to add. i was looking at harman kardon, seem like a legit sound system, but since i have L7 would adding a different set of interior speakers mess anything up the system?

Changing the speakers won't mess up anything.

I have an L7 too, and I changed the speakers (except the subs under the seats) to Bavarian Soundwerks speakers. Their Stage 1 set is reasonably priced and gives a clear change to stock L7 speakers. Sure it's not the best of the best, but for me they are just enough. The high end sounds became much more clearer than with stock speakers. They are a straight fit, a true plug&play set.

I also added a Carpower Blackbass 10" 2x250W and a Focal Solid 1 600W amp into my trunk which gives the whole system a nice kick.

The BSW Stage 1 speaker set is bought from their own store (the link). I don't believe they're sold anywhere else.
I bought the amp from a local hifi shop, and the sub came from my previous car.

The speaker install looks stock, nothing special. I did it last fall along my interior mods, and you can find pictures in this thread:
https://5series.net/forums/topic/102...-not-over-yet/

There's lots of stuff in that thread, but the audio stuff can be found roughly from these posts:
#141 --> BSW speakers install
#150 --> Sound dampening
#157 --> Focal Solid 1 amplifier install
#204 --> Subwoofer install

ps. The thread might be a joy to read throughoutly.
