Alex, I think you dont quite understand the Dension Gateway as opposed to the ACM. I have the Dension Gateway and the ACM installed now and they are not competing products but instead complimenting ones.
When you use the Dension Gateway you are not using the ACM at all because the Dension is only for sound - so no blue screen at all. You choose the sound source needed i.e. USB, iPOD or the Dension-AUX and that plays on your CD Changer screen.
Its only when you want to watch the iPOD Video via your Dension do you need to switch the ACM on to watch the actual video but here again the sound is played via the CD Changer.
Also the ACM menu does not show up ever - unless you turn it up.
If Nick can figure out how to update the software in the ACM and the CAN interface then we may be able to retrofit the USB device otherwise we'll be stuck. Ofcourse you can always plug the USB device into an existing video/audio input like DVT or DVD and that will work but then you're having to choose. As mentioned I do not know if the ACM will update its own firmware when a PROGRAM update is performed.

But, if it doesn't work, this means that all the early birds purchasing the ACM Module will just have to face the fact that if this new function is desired, they'll just have to buy a new module with the new part number...

Have any of the 'early birds' noticed that if you have your DVD connected and you enter the ACM menu and highlight the DVD option you get a message at the bottom saying "Please disconnect USB device". Now if there was no USB capability on the older ACM what does that message mean?

When I was thinking of the ACM module i get the full manual from my dealer.
At the end of the manual there was a "WARNING: For using the ACM module you have to remove the usb device in the USB(6FL) port"
When i'm at home i'll scan the manual....
