61133333333 is not an actual part number. Its a part number for a "Part on Request" part which means that unless you provide bmw with all the details about what, where, how, colour etc of the usage they will not supply you with the part.

Damn this is confusing, sorry if I repeated anyone or anything here, but just to be clear.

Would this kit be the best option for me ??

I have Pro Sat Nav.

I would like a Digital TV option of some kind ( the official retrofit is silly money ), and I would like to have USB support so I could plug in either hard drive or memory stick etc.

Now I have MP3 support already on my dash mounted single slot drive, I have no clue if the DVD drive on the dash would play movies or not, I suspect not, but that would be another prerequisite.

In another thread someone already kindly pointed me towards the correct DTV modules, should I decide to take that route........

hi everyone
I am back again, with a new car, BMW E60 2008 sport M KIT , i went to my dealer and asked about the ACM Unit, he said cost would be 620 euros TTC and needs 2 hours of work which cost 240 euros, i can add the USB unit for ACM module, cost 320 euros + 1 hours etc..
this is a total of 1300 Euros, no coding or programming required as i have the Aux INPUT
do you think it is a good deal???
regards
ps i will add photos of my new car soon

For those who have the USB module please let me know if you have some issue with USB video and USB picture mode.

Most time I can?t get acess for this options only for USB music. I don?t know if it is a problem with the HD or USB module.

Hi all it wasn't an issue. All video entertainment sources in the options menu will not be able to be displayed until you confirm all the check controls messages. It is a safety function!

I'm now going to test the video, music and pic formats that works with the USB module. Since all of my multimedia files are running in a mac and didn't work with BMW USB unit.

I'm using an Western Digital Passport 500GB FAT32 formated.

No issues here Alex, I'm very happy with ACM so far!!

modified Aux-in (with by-passed resistors) provides nice, really nice, sound quality on Mp3 or Divx files. I have thousands of Divx music videos encoded with lame mp3 sound at 128k.
Don't try full res (or shrinked on 4.3 GB DVD disk) VOB files, as they are playing jerky (vid+aud) Also pic viewer is tooo slow when reading full size pics. Pics must be resized at 800 or max 1024 pixels in order viewer or slide show to play them instantly. Our CID is 640 X 240 pix for 8.8" monitor I think, so there is no need for higher res than 800 pixels.
