soc_fan did you replace the bulbs yourself? I'm having some difficulties trying to reach the bulbs. There seems to be some kind of a metal framing that prevents me from opening the cap behind the low beam lights. I can get to the high beams easily, but not the low beams. thanks
In order to do it properly, you have to take out the headlights. Otherwise take off the top two torx screw (T35) and losen the bottom two bolts (10mm). After that you should be able to slide the headlights out a little bit to get you enough room to put your hands in. Hope this helps.

Hey Darwin! What's up buddy?

Listen to D, he installed the foglights for soc_fans. I might get my fogs converted to 6000K HIDs also. I just installed the 6000K PIAA GT-X bulbs and thought it would match my 6000K lowbeams but it's not even close. I've already spent about $140 on PIAA bulbs when I should have done it right the first time....sucks.

Very nice, so you get fault messages after the installation? Are you sure it wouldn't harm the car?
Yup, i'm sure it will not harm the car.. when i put the halogen fogs back to the car the fault messages will be gone.

That's what I thought also. I figured I'd match the temp rating on the PIAA bulbs to my xenon temp and everything would look the same. And since they're made by PIAA, I figured they're quality bulbs and true to their claim. Oh well...
