Really? I dont feel any lose of power.... My stock 645ci vs 335i i lost by a car length. When I raced again after the magnaflow exhaust I was neck n neck with the same car, same driver. I also did a KN drop in filter...
Did you take out the resonators? Do a xpipe? Change the piping size?

Did you dyno back-to-back with all other mods being equal? What about engine temp, intake temps, humidity, etc.? It seems strange to me that you'd lose that much HP, everything else being equal. Unless your previous exhaust somehow had less restriction than your new system, then you shouldn't lose power unless you're new system is flowing too well for the application. Or again, the surrouding environmentals were noticeably different from your first dyno run. Also what was your air/fuel ratio, before and after?

I'm sorry if this has been covered a billion times, but what is the quad system for the V8 models that doesn't lose hp?

Its technically not a quad exhaust, its a dual exhaust (2 mufflers) quad tips, 6 tips or 10 tips, that doesnt make a difference. All V8s usually in most instances have dual exhaust because of the 2 headers on the motor. 6's, m6's, most amg benz, mustangs, vettes etc etc. Technically it should help with the exhaust flow, freeing up a few horses... Only way I see hp dropping is if maybe you changed the whole piping to something larger, didnt do xpipe, resulting in loss of back pressure? Perhaps a better drop in intake filter might help? RPI scoops.
Magnaflow definantly sounds good. Lets wait and see how rpi and others sound

I am going with RPI because of these reasons:
1) Price was decent
2) Sound was awesome
3) HP gain
4) Tips looked badass

I obviously mean quad (tip) exhaust. I don't believe I've ever seen a full quad exhaust on anything other than an aircraft.
