I am trying to find out if the 19" OEM rims from a 645 will fit a 525. The tire sizes are 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 rear. Thanks.

The M6 19 wheels (M167) with 8,5x19 ET12 F and 9,5x19 ET17 R
are installed on some E60's that I know of.

But the tires should be 245/35 19" F and 275-285/30 19" R.

The 6-series (E63/64) tires are too large!

Thanks! I would imagine they would rub the fender wells with that profile.

OEM 167s would only rub if the stock tires of an M6 were kept on. with the recommended tire sizes, there shouldnt be any rubbing at all with those wheels.

Go to 275/30 R19 on the back to be on the safe side. That's what BMW recommends in the owners manual and on driver's side sticker.

Wheels are fine. Those tires are just one aspect ratio off each.

I have 6 series sport wheels (121s) on my car right now. Same tire sizes as you mentioned. No problems. As a matter of fact they fill the wheelwell perfiectly with no rubbing. See my signature for pics.

Waco, I've also bought the 121 Style wheels with 6 Series tyre size. When they were fitted, the mechanic mentioned the rears were very close to the suspension. Did you fit spacers in the rear at all? With the tyre height, I'd be really worried about rubbing if I added spacers too. I have stock standard suspension, and they seem really close to the fenders to me also. Certainly no need to drop the car as it stands. I'm thinking I may leave it until the rear tye need changing, then add spacers at go to 275/30/19's on the rear at the same time... An online calculator showed the wheels were 17mm closer to the inside wall, compared to my old 17" 138's without knowing the exact gap it's hard to say how close they are now, but that seems like a lot.

OEM 121 wheels are 19x8.5 fr 19x9rears

the front off set is 14mm and the rears are 18mm, should fit no problem.

The the Diesel cars have diff offsets that could be why, stock is 20mm fr and 32mm rear
