I'm a little tired of all the pictures of the 5. What I'd like to HEAR is clips of exhaust mods and have them collected in a gallery of some kind. A number of forum members have moded their exhaust and a great many of us want to know how they sound. A carefully placed nail hole in the final muffler might make the perfect sound!
I have been waiting to hear some exhaust notes on a 5, and heard plenty of the M5, but no samples of the many other exhaust options even factory sounds as a baseline.

I just wonder if you cut the bumper like this, is it going to be some kinda holes on the side of where you'd cut?

choi000,

Where did you order the eisenmann from? How do the tips look. I had an eisenmann on my M3 and they had a choice of three different sound levels. Do they have that also for the 5 series?

Thanks! I had the car lowered with H&R springs. It drops it like 1.5". As for the wheel lip, I'm not sure how big they are in inches, but I can fit the width of my feet and I wear a size 10 shoes. Hope that helps.

I ordered the eisenmann from www.eisenhaus.com. They're located in Texas, i think. And I picked up the exhaust for around $1300. And I got the quad exhaust tips with the racing performance sound level, so they do have it for the E60.
Oh, talk to Joel from Eisenhaus. Thats the guy I picked up the exhaust from, it took like 4 weeks for the exhaust to be made and shipped to my door.
