F! the warranty , slap it in there - superchargers are pretty easy intalls, when you blow out your tranny just take it out and bring it in to your dealer - most technicians have no clue what they're doing anyway.
Give your service manager at bmw a bottle of wine he'll look over anything.

I wish this was true also.
I'm almost positive, with something as serious as a broken tranny being fixed/replaced under warranty, you can be sure their computer will suggest that an aftermarket piece was fitted.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the SC 4.4. comes with new manifold too. But in an earlier thread with Vnod, warranty issues is tricky with this mod. I wish Alpina makes retrofit SC or Dinan decides to make an SC.
What would you have to do to the transmission if you SC? If it's that much trouble, I might as well wait four more years and get a used low miles M5.
