Great combo, and your car is the right color too as best I can tell (check my photo gallery pics linked in my sig). And, check out the first "Mind Candy" link in my sig for similar thinking on weight reduction. I have the same size wheels/tires (PS2's), and I did not, and would not, lower my car. Let's see some full side pics of your car. For comparison, here is a pic from one of my gallery albums.

What did your wheels cost? Oh, now I see. And, what is their weight?
Here are some photos of my 550i side view with new wheels and tires. I did not weigh wheels only, as I could not compare with OEM wheel weights without dismounting tires. Above in my original post is a comparison of weights of front and rear wheel/tire combinations. Saves 43 pounds overall.
It looks great. I definitely would not lower it. I saw your weight savings earlier. I take it that you weighed both your old and new wheel/tire combos. My savings was about 64 lbs.--equivalent to a sprung-weight savings of about 107 lbs.

Looks great! Is the grip any better? The 550 has a lot of torque and I am having a little difficulty keeping the tires planted on the road.
How hard is it to keep the tires planted on the road with all the electronic nannies that prevent spinning the tires? If anything, it's hard NOT to keep the tires planted on the road.
It is not easy with my Step 545i as I typically drive with both DSC and DTC off. The nannies do nothing but rob HP.

looks great, the simplicity of the rims is beautiful, looks like they will be relatively easy to clean also, so that is good riddance to brake dust also

nice wheels man, terrific. for me, the more I can see through the wheels, the better I like them.

Hey, those M Parallel style wheels look excellent on the E60!

Do you have a photo of the entire profile? It would be neat to see the whole set-up and how it looks overall.

Thanks.
Here is mine

Yikes ! I guess the photo was too large to attach. I will try to take another shot with a lower resolution camera, sorry

The Styling 125's look really great. they give the car a "light" and sporty look.

Five spoke wheels for a 550i

Absolutely no lowering needed!

Great choice and individual, too.
