Hello forum..

I have a question..

Will the Magnaflow 14815 work well with my 06 550i? Will there be any additional modifications needed to make it fit?

Yes it will. Member gregg2gs has that on his 06 550i. He has the 14862 which is the same as 14815 just different tips.

Works no prob on the 06 550. Gregg2gs has 14816 on his 06 550 and poleposition has 14815 on his 08 550. Both are friends and local members. Seen both cars in person many times. Easy fitment.
