I'm sure the man who made me the custom exhaust could make cat + headers for ?1000 .
RD always exaggerates.

In September I already know I will be lazy to bring the car there and keep it still for 10-15 days
Imho there are not less than 15 HP to get from them .

RD claims 25HP

OEM manifolds look like hell, especially on the left hand side.
The word "Flow optimized" is not the first thing that comes to mind.

You will definitely gain a lot by replacing them.

Woooo
It's time to say "bye bye 550i" (although in Europe you see a 550i every 40k km)

$4k is way to much. I wonder if I could get one made locally for much less. Does anyone know of any good shops for custom fab work in Colorado??

You can really see that the HD header flow much better then stock!

I'm assuming that you installed the HD headers, what do you think of them? was it a tight fit?

In the market for headers for my 545i .... and not liking what I'm seeing.

According to the add for the RD Sport headers, they are "equal length tubuluar headers". Well, there is no way in hell those are equal length, not even close. The rear runner is obviously signifigantly shorter then the front runner.

I'm also seeing these listed for $5k? http://www.gmpperformance.com/index.cfm?PG...&PID=141633 ????? Look at the quality of the welding on these headers from the picture above and tell me that price isn't insane. And for what is the deal with that crap collector? I can't believe a set of headers for this type of money has a formed collector.

What else is there? There has got to be something.
