Love the higher rpm sound coming from the RPI exhaust especially that part where you revved it under the bridge! Sounds like a beast!! I'm on the verge on getting this exhaust because i don't like the sound when the car is in idle. It burbles alot IMO. I would love to see this exhaust in action though. Usually it's a whole lot different in person. Congrats on the new toy and great vid BTW.

seeee yaaa has one on his 535, i believe he is located in irvine. pm him J, when i had it on the 535i i loved every minute of it !
Power and sound. That's what you're buying. To back both points up, my car competed against a 2001 modded M5 and it was a virtual tie. He says he beat me by a car, but it was at most half a car...I was the passenger and could've reached out and touched the M5 at the end. Anyways, the guy I raced was proud enough to post this on floridagerman.com...
E39///M5 vs 535i
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Closed course
2001 ///M5 mods Shark injector, corsa exhaust & light weight fly wheel.
2008 535i mods JB3, RPI full exhaust
both cars have a passenger. 40-140. perfect take off for both off us M5 slowly pulls away and at 140 M5 by a car.
535i had an amazing sounding exhaust.
So, though he was overstating his few foot victory, he made a point to mention the "amazing sounding exhaust".
PS A higher map number or more octane and he's toast next time...

Best review vid I've seen to date
Hey thanks!
Dbae, that explains why he refused to race my car from 0. He said the wheels would spin.
PS Take that car on a track, like Sebring, and I think I handle the M5 - too heavy to maneuver.
