Most people I know that go catless do it not only for performance but mostly for sound.

I went with some stainless steel headers that were made for a e46 330i from bimmerbrakes and had them modified to fit the e60.

Yeah, definite change...sounds sweet though. Just dunno how it would sound in the car when moving. I already have one race car...this was supposed to be the nice sporty fam sedan...oh well, there goes that idea! lol

535i guys will not get rasp as the turbos them selves work as mufflers, thats why when you hear a turbo car with straight exhaust its just loud and no rasp, but on a NA car it will get a LOT of rasp.
