Hi guys wanted to get some feeling on 535i exhausts.

1. Does anyone make one?

2. If no one makes one, what would you like to see in a exhaust?
a. quad tip (like M3/M5)
b. twin tip (like 335i)

3. Sound
a. Louder
b. same as stock

4. If someone makes and exhaust what do you like or dislike?

Please vote.

Hi there,

I just had mine installed today, here is the link with pictures: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=67389

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, several companies make them (I went with Remus). They range in price (like everything else). You can also do a custom exhaust.

2. Quad tip style (my tips are a little of quad and duel design)

3. I wanted to keep the sound close to stock, but just a little louder. That's another reason I went with the Remus exhaust.

4. I went with Remus because it was designed specifically for the e60 and was a simple design. I like the sound. You can tell the difference from stock, but it doesn't drone and isn't annoyingly loud.

Good luck!

Yeah I only knew of the Eisenmann and the Dinan ones that were specifically built for the 535... The Remus one is cribbed from the 545i/550i , at least that is the way they used to be , since there were no 535i 's in Europe.

I'd like it as Stealth as possible.. maybe even with the Vacuum articulated flapper. For me a big plus would be Black or Black chrome Tips. No Drone is always a plus too! single/double tips in the stock spot...
Sound can be louder but , no Drone...

Glad to see someone finally taking such an interest in our 535's...

At first I really thought I wanted a quad exhaust, but I've really grown accustomed to loving my DINAN free flow exhaust just the way it is...

I say, find a Dinan Muffler somewhere and then just do some custom piping and custom tips and now u've got a Custom Quad Dinan exhaust.
