Thanks Stephen,

I would be interested in seeing it sometime. I get through to Livingston normally once a week or so, send me a pm and we'll arrange a hook up.

I have a deal in place with Superchips to do my car (They did my 530d E39), but at the moment their website is not showing anything for a 535d.

With all that extra power are you thinking about some wider wheels and tyres?

I'll send you a PM. I've actually bought a set of 19 hartge classics, but I had intended on running 245's on them all round. I'll possibly reconsider, but not sure if you've seen on the forum or not but I've already changed my tyres from the runflats to winter tyres. At the moment it is making a very noticeable difference to the handling and traction of the car - even pre tuning box!

I intend to get Bridgestone S03s or Goodyear GS-D3s for the summer on my set of hartge classics.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does this Speed Buster do?? Is it just an electronic ignition booster such as an MSD or Crane Hi-6?? This will be my first foray into European cars especially a BMW (my 5er arrives this week).? My usual experience is with a 93 Mazda RX7 Twin Turbo, so I'm more comfortable with knowledge about Japanese imports and rotary engines.

It remaps the fuelling for diesel cars - the exact detail I'm unsure. There are lots of similar devices available for diesel cars for which altering the fueling can give improvements of around 25%! Try this webpage for more details.
