Hope someone can help. Received my speedbuster tuning box today. A couple of problems:
1. The manual is in german,
2. The pictures seem to contradict each other (I explain below),
3. Need advice on connecting to positive and earth (where?).
Here are the manual pages below. If someone can translate I'd be more than grateful - I tried google but it wasn't very successful. After taking off the cover there appears to be a small cover with 2 bolts at the back, very hard to get out it seems. Notice the difference at the back of the engine between pics 1 and 2 - they seemed to have removed the part at the back. Any thoughts on this?
I'm also trying to work out whether the end of the lead should be at the front of the engine or the back - pictures 5 and 6 seem to show it plugged in at either end - maybe it doesn't matter? And finally, the manual doesn't seem very clear where to connect the positive and earth - I know the positive goes to the red terminal, but is it going to be OK to connect whilst plugged in, or should I switch something off first? Also, any ideas where to connect the earth to?

Hi SG535d, congrats on your box.just by curiosity, how much did you pay for it and what kind of power are you supposed to get out of it??

My German is not much good but this is how I see things.
The harness is allowing you tap in to each of the injectors.
Number one goes at the rear of the engine against the fire wall and 6 at the front. The long lead with power connectors is then routed to the +ve red covered box in the engine bay where you pick up +ve and the negative to the chassis or -ve terminal in the engine bay shown in picture 7 top right hand corner.
Yes just connect up, no need to switch off anything except your ignition.
Good luck and enjoy the power.

Got a pic from my ACS power box installation. The lead goes at the top as you can see. (but maybe it doesn't matter!)

Jmcaiado,
I also have the ACS power box. Mine only has one set of connectors that goes to the front of the engine and T's into the fuel pressure management harness. No external power needed.
Are you saying that yours looks like the harness above as mentioned by SG535D?
If so then I wonder what makes our to units different?

The unit is powered by the car batery. In this pic look at the red conector.
Yours should be the same.

No mine is not the same. As mentioned the harness from the tuning box only has one male and one female plug which connects to another female/male pair at the front of the engine.
No power or injector cables.
Do you have part number or reference for this unit so that I can investigate and find out what makes it different from mine?
Confirm that it is a unit from AC Schnitzer. Their website only says they have a unit for the E60 but does not show a picture only a graph.
Here is a link which is not the exact unit in my car but shows the type of harness. It's 5v technology picking up power through the harness.

My unit is from ACS for sure because i saw the box with my own eyes
I even signed an ACS warranty certificate.
I will try to find the invoice to look at the correct part number.
