They shaked they heads and openned dyno for recalibration, but after that result was same.
Either I have to brake an other dyno curve or I have to find that calculation formula somewhere.

I dont understand why the 525d has flat spots.
I e-mailed kempower weeks ago and they said that they do increase boost. Ill try and find that e-mail and post it.

This is what they replied.
So they admitted that there is turbo lag. Not very encouraging.
I do not increase the turbo pressure but due the fact that i have a better combustion, the pressure increase with 0.1 bar, what doesn't do anything. Normally You must have at least the same life time as stock. There will be no smoke and much less turbo-lag at lower RPM than stock. Don't be afraid, there is no increase of turbo pressure only a optimalistaion of the injection that gives this result. We guarantee, that You have at least the anounced power and torque figures. There is no problem for engine or transmission.

it's a turbo. of course there's lag.
less than stock, I presume they mean.

I found great excell dyno from:
http://www.offroadvw.net/exceldyno/
According that and few other which I found with 311hp 530d should go about 6 sec to 100kph and high 13 sec 1/4mile with about 175 kph.
Same excell sheet gives 545 0,1-0,2 sec better times and 180kph after 1/4 mile.
There is something to test now. Also I play more with this spreadsheet later.

I dont want any lag under 2500rpm since under normal driving conditions its always under that much. When standard how much lag did it have and where abouts in the rev range?
Is the car more better to drive now or before in terms of smoothness and less lag?

I would not call that lag, at least not turbolag. It's like you still don't have all that power available. Look the curves and think that 1500rpm you have 54 hp to go on. Acceleration can't be like a wind. Sh...t this is hard to explain, You have to feel it Your self.
Only "poor" thing is me in a car. I forget to check tacho sometimes before starting lane change or take over. It feels like "stick in a tar", when proper rpm it feels like "take off".
You just have to feel it Your self... Sorry that I'm not Shakespear.

I get what you mean.
Ive studied the graph more carefully and its looks much better than the standard curve.
So at around 1500rpm, if you put your foot down is the acceleration "abit" slow and then around 2500rpm does it start to pull like a train?
I think i will get it after all.
Im just concerned about reliabilty. How has your fuel comsuption changed? Does your dealer know about the remap and is the warranty void? What happens if you get a software update, is there any chnace of it getting wiped off?
thanks Skaffa

I was told that fuel consumption may drop little and I have got 6,4 L/100km, when old low mark was 6,6 L/100km. But power don't come for free, so when pushed readings are totally different. In normal trafic no changes.
In my mind there is no possibility that iDrive update can over write engine ECU.
