I did the same here in Italy, not using DMS software, of course. I do not regret my decision, I noticed only improvements everywhere, in performance, crispness, quickness and mileage, too! My only concern is about auto-tranny, the torque that the modified engine can put through it is really massive and sometimes I have the impression that it's having some pain in keeping it at bay. Maybe just an impression.

Hi Marty !

Did DMS gave you a copy of the report (car put on the dyno) ? How much did you pay ?
What are the figures ? HP ? Torque ?
Is your car still electronicly limited 250km/h ?
Is your car fitted with sport packet ?
Are you still happy with brake power & endurance ?

Tx for the feedback

AFAIK the 535d doesn't have any electronic speed limitation, the reason being that, in standard guise, it's supposed to not exceed the 250 kmh self-imposed limitation.
In any case, my 535d easily reaches the end of tacho scale (260 kmh) at about 4100 rpm and pulls strong for 400 rpm more. The tuner says top speed is 257 kmh.

Hi Oliver.
No I didn't ask for a report as I'd read two independant reports from uk car magazines.
BHP up from 277 at 4000rpm to 344 at 4200rpm Torque up from 413lb/ft at 2000rpm to 506lb/ft at 2570rpm
0 to 60mph has gone from 6.5sec to 5.5sec(Tested)
0 to 100mph has been timed at 13.5 secs(Tested)
50 to 70mph was 3.3 sec now 3.0 secs(Tested)
Yes the car is still Electronically limited
My car is the sport model with optional 19inch wheels(It needs the grip)
The brakes were more than adequate before the conversion so no problems there,as for endurance only time will tell but the guy's a DMS in my opinion are no fools they are car fanatics, I think reliability is at the forefront of their upgrades, they told me they could have gotten alot more power out of this car but didn't do it for reliability purposes.
The conversion cost ?999

260 km/h at 4100rpms? That seems odd.
I have in my standard 535d 3000 rpm at 220km/h and around 250-255km/h where the limiter kicks in i have around 3500-3600rpms. Impossible for 260km/h and 4100rpms. Let alone in a tweaked car.
