If you look my signature, you can get more info about potential of BMW diesels. I have 6sp and I'm rather convinced that it can take punishment, autobox take it little better. This not racing car, but civilized touring car.

My Ride: -04 530D
I calculated values roughly and got 0-200km/h 17,3s and 1/4-mile 13,8s. I used 330hp and 700Nm. Tyre friction 0,9 and shift time 0,1s. You can also check 545 values from some magazine.
Ofcourse there is too many variabels which can change this.
