Hey guys I just got off the phone with GT Pro Performance Tuning and got some information regarding some Turbo upgrades for the N54 platform. They are currently developing bolt on turbos that utilize the stock housing and hoses. GT Pro's turbos are virtually undetectable by the dealership unless the turbos are taken apart.

"The proprietary GT Series compressor wheels have been specifically designed with the latest in aerodynamic
compressor technology, we also keep the proper exducer to diffuser area for optimum efficiency. The turbine
side has been specifically clipped to reduce backpressure which rounds out the upgrade."

The turbos provide 45HP producing aproximately 354HP to the wheel. GT Pro's system is error code & limp mode free. The new turbos use approximately 10lbs boost that provide sustained power instead of spikes like piggy back systems do. Additionally they are working with Vishnu for a turbo map which will provide additional power. The turbos come with a one year/12k mile warranty.

With an intercooler, hardlined piping, down pipes, and full turbo exhaust this system will be a monster!
We are discussing a group buy, so if you are interested please post your comments here.

Based on GTs website they're quoting $2295.00 + core for the turbos. Active Autoworks has an intercooler for $1365.
Procede V3s go for $1495...intake, turbo piping, plus install..... you tell me. Maybe under 6K

Downpipes and turbo exhaust are not available yet but GT is willing to work on it for us. But keep in mind these prices are full retail, without a group buy price.

I have a meeting with GT Pro tomorrow, so I'll ask them about the full kit as well as pricing. I'll have exact specs and pricing ready by this time tomorrow. They don't have one yet for the 535i but they are working on it as we speak.

For $2295 you can bolt on the turbos and get sutained 45-50 WHP. NO tune no nada....
with the piggy back though we should be able to see HUGE gains. GT is working with
Shiv @ Vishnu for a custom race map!

Of course the group buy price would be less.
