Wow great job . That looks very promising - how did you have to mod the transmission cooler.

Thanks 77

It wasnt really modded, just moved out the way. If you look at post 21 first pics shows tran cooler sitting just above the intercooler.. It's secure and sees plenty of air..

TLO03, From the pics I'm guessing here, does your unti hang lower than the OEM unit?
I'm trying to see the 30% increase in size. Was it depth and height that changed or just depth?
I know that the bar and plate design would still decrease the IATS.
Also how much heavier was the fabbed IC?

Thanks a bunch. I'm looking into getting an IC, I had one on my 335i and it made a world of a difference after my Procede tune.

It is flush just as the old one was.. Stock demensions are like 4 inches high and 4 inches deep. New one is 6inches wide and about 5 3/4 high.. With the bar plate design 6 in. Core just would just be another bar... And it is a bit heavier.

Great job getting this done, I wish there were manufacturers out there doing something like this then it would probably be less expensive. Also the increase in size was minimal was hoping for a bit more, but nonetheless great job you are a pioneer!
