My Ride: 545i SMG with Limited Slip Differential
Model Year: 2005
Default

From 68-116-176-232-279-320 kmh (2.93, stock)

to

62-104-159-209-251-288 kmh

with the (530i manual/SMG) 3.23 final drive ratio .

Your opinions ?

Good times on 0-100, with the 104 kmh second gear, and on 0-200, with the 209 kmh 4th gear .

BMW sells only the 3.23 final ratio or I need to buy all the new differential ?

Today I gone to my dealer to speak about the new diff and they said me that it's doable .

Thank you!

Heheh!

Mechanically will be fine, but we don't know if the software would have problems with the new ratio .
Anyway, I hope I can order only the 3.23 ratio and not whole diff .

In next days 166+PS2 and after "new" gears .
