I replaced my OEM chrome 530i badge with a caron fiber one i got from ebay ($13). its real carbon fiber laminated with what appears to be silicone, not epoxy. they're flexible and is a little larger than the stock one. i think it looks great. check out the installaion pics... took about 10 minutes to install (including taking pictures).

Using orinary sewing string to remove the OEM badge: (dental floss would work well too)

Left over goo... i used windex and some elbo grease to remove it. I didnt want to use any harsh solvents.

Taped on the included stencil

Applying the carbon numbers

All done...

Final result!

it would definitely help out someone who wishes to debadge their car. maybe keep going with the carbon fiber idea with the rear liscence plate holder, maybe even the kidney grills like a few members? just some ideas that came to my mind when i saw this. good job btw.

yeah im going to keep the carbon going throughout the car... 20's are next then carbon door pilars, then the kidneys and the plate holder... as you can see i still have the paper tag on my car (only three weeks old to me) so im taking it in steps.
i love this car but everything is so DAMN expensive! oh well

I think this treatment on black would be way cool ! Very subtle and understated..... or debadged .
