Hey Skaffa that's fantastic. 25% gain in power and 11% gain in torque.

Your standard figures do sound very high but the % gain is what's important. You mentioned in a previous post that the process could be reversed how is this possible if there is no piggy back unit connected in series?
How did they remove the AMD chip with all of those legs soldered to the PCB?

Well done and enjoy the extra power, I certainly do!!!

Standard figures are suspicious. VERY!!!!! But yes, the % increase is the important bit.

I have 6-speed manual but this should not be proble, because BMW have 1,7 marging in manuals and 2,0 in auto transmissions. Kempower has done more than 30 530d's and so far no problems.

They told that June upgraded 530d should be in production and that should have similar figures. They liked to have my original chip because it had unique serial number and Kempower have good relationships to Munich (they have worked in several engine projects with BMW motorsport) , they like to talk about this with Munich. Of course it can be that I just happend to have very good unit.

If the 535d is too much for the 6 speed, then surely a 530d chipped will be pushing it to it's limits. I hope it doesn't break.

They were amazed when original values were 247hp and 624Nm. This was surprising to all and they were very suspicious and wanted to calibrate dyno again. Still after that same result!
Wow!

Are they all like this??? Did I read that the 530d going to get a factory boost soon?

Don't expect anything like the results you're seeing for a turbocharged car...

Thats amazing. How come the standard figures are so high. Im finding that hard to believe. What about the reliabilty of the engine? Will it void the bmw warranty?

I am wondering how much extra power i have in my 525d.

There is a dyno of a X5 218bhp on there site and that has no were near the standard power that you had.
