I have an 530d E61 auto 2004, CIP/PROGMAN version not known but no map perspective or MP3. What I want to improve most is the speed the auto transmissin changes and locks up. There is no banging but I'd like it to be faster and to reduce that annoying slurring as the torque converter goes about its business. To me this would be more useful that a remap. I see from another forum that line change 2007 improved as follows " the torque converter lock up faster and also downshifts are 50% faster in certain circumstances, for instance it will shift from 6 to 4 to 2, instead of 6,5,4,3,2. ". I understand they are the same basic ZF 26HP transmissions question is can I get my car upgraded for the line change software??
