525I Coverted to A M5
#1
Hey guys, i currently own a 525I 2004, and would love to covert it to a newer M5 body, i guess i would need the front bumper, rear bumper, dual exhaust, and the fender inserts, i just wanted to ask a few questions before doing so.
1st: Are the bumpers direct bolt on or will there be modification required?
2nd: If i purchased a white front and rear bumper, is the color code the same?
3rd: What are all the parts i will need to do this project
Sorry for the all newbie questions, im just kinda getting into the bmw scene, Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

2. And the answer is yes, if you get all the parts correct, it'll be a direct installation...
but, i recommend you go for the M-Sport Aero Kit look...JM2C

If you want your 525 to look like a true M5, you're going to need to purchase the front fenders too. I believe the front fenders are about 10mm wider on each side.

thats going to be a VERY EXPENSIVE conversion.
as mentioned above, between changing all the parts like bumpers, fenders, hood, skirts, tail finisher, spoiler, side mirrors, brake system, wheels?, exhaust etc and getting all that painted... which by the way i recommend u get the WHOLE car repainted so it will all match you will spend a small fortune...

1. on top of you're list of items stated above, you're gonna need to lose the chrome door trims and get the high gloss black trims on the doors, a boot lid cover (on the rear reg plates area), and a boot lip-spoiler to accompany the boot area (finishing touch)...that will make it look almost similar like an M5 on the exterior...(this is because you need the huge disc rotors and calipers if you want to make it look identical on the exterior...) that's all that i think you need to make it look like an M5...
