520d DMS
#11
I can't imagine that you would be disappointed
I fitted a SteinBauer tuning box to my 520d 12000 miles ago which is adjustable upto 196bhp. It makes a world of difference to mid range acceleration. Watch the fuel economy though. Under normal driving there is a small improvement but if you use the extra power then it will use more fuel. DMS remap will have the same effect

dms offer 208bhp/410nm .... worth every penny!
Sounds great, but how many pennies does it cost?

To a forum member, they are quoting ?750 inc VAT (for a 535d at least...).... If you visit them at Andover that is. More if you don't. Equates to 25% off if you're a forum member (and go to DMS in Andover) or 10% off if a forum member and they have to visite you.

I assume that for the 535d this is ?1000 minus a 25% discount.
It might be that the DMS price for the 520d is cheaper still - to attract the non-performance freaks in cheaper cars!
Can anyone confirm the DMS price for a 520d?
