Had the 3m clear bra installed this mornign for free - got a hook up - buy a very good installer - he will do work all through the South - he is OEM Porsche and BMW installer and did a fantastic, perfect job on my recently upgraded 545. Anyhow his website is AutoPaintGuard.com and his email is sales@autopaintguard.com - please tell him that bturkel sent you from the E60 Forum for discount.

Of all the clear bra's I've seen, usually they only look good for the first 3-6 months. After that, they all start to look bad. Some of them lose their shine, while others start to turn yellow. Good idea in my opinion, but had mine taken off.
Good thing most of the places that you pay for the job getting done, they do offer a lifetime warranty on the product.
Congrats on getting it done free of charge. Keep us posted long term.
PS: couple of days ago saw a black E60 with the clear bra on, and it was unwashed...what a shame. It was an awful sight.

had a clear braon my 530 with 21m mile son it and now problem with it yellowing or getting dirty - you have to make sure to keep it waxed also after install - make sure to squeeze the edges two or three times in 3 dyas - it prevents edge lift.

I have 21K miles on my MINI with a clear bra on it for 2.5 years and not much of a problem with it either... I dont use wax on it but I use Plexus on it after each wash.

You MUST take care of the bra for it to look good. its not a install and leave it alone thing.

I had the invisi-bra put on my 330i about a week after I got it a year ago. Wish I would have had it done the day I got it cause on day 3 a rock chipped the bumper near the grill. No problems with it since its been installed...it does look like crap if not kept clean but after each car wash its very clear. My dad who keeps his cars eat-from-any-part clean has it on his Vette, and if you didn't know it was there you can't even see it! I think they are a good investment in the right environment.
