We will require that the vehicle have either a factory BMW oil cooler our oil cooler installed to install the software. We will be contacting you soon to pre-sale these as well. Pricing on the software and oil cooler will come in the following days as we get it. So call your customer and start scheduling appointments.'

Warranty: Only offer warranty that matches New Car Limited Warranty (NO Extended Warranty coverage)

Found this over at e90post.com. Thought you all might find it interesting. Probably just a matter of time before a flash is relased for the 535i

Interesting. Wonder what BMW's response would be to the warranty.

Warranty...?? Forget about it... I was told strictly by my dealer...any mods made to the vehicle outside of the "dealer approved zone" will make the warranty null and void...so i really don't think so..

Certain BMW dealers in the U.S. offer Dinan parts. If they install the parts they will be covered by the BMW/Dinan warranty.

By no means BMW blindly honor the original waranty, and I have a feeling you may need to take the work to BMW dealer which installed the mod, not any BMW dealer (like the original OEM waranty)
I like the idea of flash though, which means Dinan reverse engineer the op-code of the ECU. I think this is better than piggy-back which creates virtual environment(fooling the ECU on boost most likely). And $1995 is still competitive to $1365 + 150 (to get to Procede V2).
For 535i, no need to add oil cooler since the OEM from BMW is big enough. The statement was for 335 (early production has units w/o oil cooler).
Life is good when you have more choices.

Not another 535 vs 550 discussion.

A remap should be a remap and cost the same
