Yes. There are threads with bad reviews about them on a bunch of forums like M5Board, 6speedonline, MBWorld..etc..

Even I had a bad experience with them. Paid extra for brushed titanium finish and titanium fasteners and my wheels didn't arrive with either. Took about 4 months to get the credit back. The promised to send me titanium fasteners free of charge for the hassle but still haven't gotten them. The other horror stories I've read about are 10 times worse than mine.
In the past 10 years or so everyone and their mother started making wheels. I cannot begin to count how many companies make/made Forged 3-Piece wheels. They all charged an arm and a leg. This high price made people think they were awesome products, hell no one will charge me allot of money for junk right? The sad truth is most of these wheels were made in China with some assembly here in the States. Don't get me wrong there were a few companies that made decent stuff but in the end most was low quality stuff at a high price. How many people on this board bought wheels whose chrome lips peeled after a season or two? How many people bent wheels without even hitting a major pothole? How many people had wheels that made the car vibrate at speed. When you buy these wheels you are buying show and also their marketing BS. Have you noticed you get very few complaints or issues from the trusted wheels companies (BBS, OZ, Work, Volk, Fikse, etc.) The reason being is that these companies put tons of time and money into engineering wheels. So at the end of the day buy a wheel from someone that knows what they are doing rather then some fly-by-night company, because that's what most of these companies are.

just my 2 pennies worth

Back on the subject these new concave look pretty sweet. I think they will be a fad just like black wheels. I think I will stick with my current set-up!
