Hello everyone, I was wondering if 22" wheels will fit on a 525i without loweing suspension. The wheels are 22x9 front and 22x10.5 rear. And if yes wat size tires are recommended and if spacers will be require to avoid rubbing. Thanks!

Well being here since July might explain why..

datrancerfu do a search on the site you will find a few with 22".. as long as its not lowered I don't think you will have to worry about rubbing as long as you get the right tire and wheel with combo.. check wheelzplus member profile that should help you out

Hamann5, makes a very good point. But I am not sure he bothered to look at your question which mentioned a 22X9 for the front ant 22X10/5 in the rear.

The point he made was that I have been a member since July.

I would bet that wheelzplus is not using that size...

Again there is a reason it is difficult to find members on any e60 site with 22s

You don't have to be a member since 22 September 04 or have 1034 posts to realize that

ive seen at 530i SHOWCAR on chrome 22s in Birmingham Maxpower show last year, in some violetpinky respray, car looked sick, but you cant have 22 in normal conditions, i think this was a cosmetic thing, although i,d to see one again normal ride height without severe arch extension as this was, i will look and see if i can pull a old kodak pic and then maybe scan it.

First off I didn't mean to make the remark as if you?re a newb. I made it because being here since only July you probably haven't seen anyone with them due to not many having them. And being a member since 22 September 04 with my 1035 posts I might be someone who is knowledgeable about this topic.

And im not sure you bothered to really realize the main question is does 22" wheels fit. The widths then later come into play but first an formost if 22" wheels don't fit no point in wondering about widths. And weather wheelzplus isn't running that size or not doesn't mean he has to run the same size.. but what a coincidence .. wheelzplus is running the same size.

you're a good guy hamann5. I did take it as you trying to be a little pushy, but in the end your response was right. Just trying to learn as much as I can and help others do the same, we all make "honest" mistakes but with you and others with your experience this site will be solid.

As a matter of fact I want some 23"s now. I wonder the minimum number of rubberbands I need to wrap the wheels in?

i know for a fact that 23's for sure will never fit. the 22's i have are within milimeters of scrapin , but they dont scrape and my car is lowered with h&r sport springs. front and rear fenders have to be rolled no matter what. front size is 22x9 with a 25 offset and 245/30/22 pirelli pzero nero / rear size 22x10.5 with a 30 offset and a 285/25/22 pireli pzero nero (only pirellis will work only because they have a rounded edge when on the rim) not like it matters but for you members that dont know ive had 3 different sets of 22's for at least a year in a half now so i know exactly what fits and what doesnt. good luck in your search for your rims.
