I know most of you will say don't do it... your ride will suffer... looks too big. The truth is i have been moding may cars since 89, and i don't mind the ride and i like the look. What i really want to know is what would the offset and wheel size have to be for 21" or 22" wheels to fit the 5 series. I know it has been done before, i have seen it. I just don't want to dish out the $$$$ and then get stuck with the old
rub-a-DUB!

If you guys can help that would be great!

Oh, and my 5er is lowered with H&R's.

Thanks guys!

I say go 22. The reason I havent done it is because spending 6g's on wheels that you only know they fit based on a forum discussion is kinda risky for me. 21inch tires are pricey but you know those fit.

Tires are not a problem, I am hooked up with some tire companies here, so i usually get free tires I just don't want to go through all this and find out it was all a big wast of time.

for sure i think you would have to roll your fenders. hit up az530on21's. he has 21'' rims but i dont know the width or offsets. wheelzplus is running 22's. i believe he's running with 22x8.5 in the front and 22x10 in the rear. hit him up too. hope this helps.

I personally like the fit of 21" wheels not too small not too big.

If you want a Hot 21" wheel I say go with the Hamann 21" Special edition wheel.. they are $$ though lol

Wow! Those are 21"'s? Those actually look really good. I thought anything 20"+ would look too ghetto, but those 21"'s look really nice. I suppose the fenders have been rolled, suspension changed, etc.....

My 19" wheels are suddenly looking very small.

EDIT: What body kit is on that car?

I think that 22" are a bit big for the 5 series. Makes the car look like a roller skate. The 21's would be a great choice if you don't want to go 20's. Since you have the car lowered. You are gonna have to roll the fender on the rear at least. I would not go any wider than 21x10's on the back and 8.5's on the front. You should be fine other wise. The tires should not be any wider than 285's or you are gonna be on 25 series tires and that would suck to hit a bad patch of road and bend and expensive rim.
