My Ride: 535i
Model Year: 2011
As I said in the title, I'm planning to buy a set of wheels
20x9.0 offset-8 and 20x10.5 offset-23 I know they are pretty aggressive offsets. And I'm planning to use 245/35/20 and 275/30/20. I know the rears will have a lil tire stretching but I'd just go with a lil stretching rather than rubbing!!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm running 245/30/20's up front and I want to change to a 245/35/20 but the tire looks so much bigger than the 245/30
and I think it will give me problems.
My wheels are 20 x 9 but they stick out 1/2 more than the stock rims and even now, I get a rub when I turn a sharp right
into a steep driveway.

Are you sure that the fronts have enough clearance?

idk... but I don't wanna take the risk of having too slim tires
Any suggestions?

The fronts will be pretty tight i think dude, 9j et8 is pretty agressive, dont think that will work unless your ride is jacked up and your poking tyre or u stretch the tyres abit more or have the fenders rolled, the rears should be ok with a 275, may not need the fenders rolled on the rear depending on how dropped you are...

If my math is correct. with my current stock tires --- 225/2 = 112.5 - offset 20 = 92.5mm from axes.
For the tire i'm considering --- 245/2 = 122.5 - offset 8 = 114.5mm from axes.
So that'll be 22mm difference (about 0.86 inch stick outwards)? Not clear enough?

Its more dependant on the width of the rim's difference and the offset difference rather than the tyre sizes and offsets.... not sure if u seen this, but i find it quite useful.. http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp

i saw that post about the HRE 943 wheels 2200 shipped or something being sold by anthony, i was actually going to buy it, but i passed on the sale coz i have other mods to focus on right now and getting ready for the biggest show next month
nice wheels but my suggestion is do not have a stretch tire set up, put some meaty tires on it to protect your wheels, plus these are not cheap wheels
and they are HRE so might as well protect your investment... and also a stretch look on the 943r does not look good though, trust me, as a HRE owner
i know how it works some of these guys here had never owned an expensive set of wheels so they would not know IMHO.. a perfect set up for these wheels will be 255/35/20 on the fronts with 5mm spacers roll fenders (depends on what suspension you are sitting on) adjust camber all the way to -2 so no rubbing when you turn. a meaty tire in the front looks sick bro.. and then run 285/30/20 on the rears no spacers needed rolled fenders. this will look and sit perfect not to flushed in just perfect tuck in!! remember: you ain't ballin! if you ain't tuckin' it right!! lol!
keep me posted!

This quite a write up and helpful info.
Can someone tell me about pros and cons about fender rolling?
Thank you!

Thats crap! Is there some special insight in to stretched tyres on hre's that no one else apart from hre owners know? stretched tyres are only for extra clearance for lowering and running agressive offsets, but that doesnt look good when its hre right?? jacked up coilies with meaty tyres work best with hre's
