Hey...don't have the car yet but sonn it will be here. So i was considering adding 20's or even 21's on the ride. IT comes with the 18's from the SP. Anyway has anyone tried? I think i saw smth about 20's but 21's wheels? Does it fit? Are there necessary adjustments you have to do? The camber modifyes? And what correct size the tires have to be (both 20's and 21's)? Need help pls...anyone have links to sites with those kind of wheels? What make best suits the E60? Or pics on E60's with 20's? 21's? Maybe....
Thanx

If your going to pimp it you have to go for the 21".
As I'm not a big fan of massive chromed aftermarket wheels I personally think the 19" looks best and gives you the best balance between looks and low kerbability (made up word).

Thanx the link was quite usefull. I was wondering if 21's were too much. I mean from a certain size the car becomes funny and quite stupid even if the rims are very nice or smth like that. I'm wondering how a car with 20's would look? Got any pics? Close ups and distance ones so you can tell how it fits thw whole car. Nice rims those Mille Miglia F20!!!

My Ride: Arrived 3 June 2005: 2005 545i - Orient Blue, Black interior, Sport, Steptronic, Cold Weather, NAV, Sirius, Logic7, Comfort Seats, Sunshades. What a glorious ride!
Interesting discussion. Especially interesting that "pimped rides" are becoming prevalent in places like Great Britain; the importation of hip-hop culture from the US appears to be in top gear.
This comes from a befuddled 50-something whose wife listens to Eminem; the term "cognitive dissonance" might have been invented just for me.

I have moved my 530d from 18in run flats to the standard 16in with conventional tyres (obtained for a song from a dealer, due to another midguided punter "upgrading" to runflats)
Looks crap but much faster cross country on real (UK) roads - ie bumpy and bad cambers. Seemed to improve traction also, amazingly. So no risk of being mistaken as a pimp here
Still have the big wheels in the shed to put back on to attract the punters when I sell

The 19" non-runflats ride better than the 18" runflats. The low speed ride is transformed. The msport runflats were better than my previous Dunlops though.
Pimps,
Sorry didn't mean to offend
Peace man.

[/quote]I love 20's too. But i think on a e60 it would be more then enough. 21's are just too big from all the 20's pics i've seen. This is reconsiderable since the road here is very bumpy and quite frankly i hate to ruin a set of brand new rims or some tires. 18's might be enough but i think i'll get used to is very much...from what i've read i think 18's with RF tires would act the same as 20's with Non RF (confort).
BTW alex do you have an UNICHIP piggieback on every car?!? LOL
